During the NYC stop of his Bud Light Dive Bar Tour at the beginning of August, Post Malone debuted “Circles” and claimed the tune would release the following week as a single. Multiple weeks later, with fans giving up hope, the rapper at last announced the official release date for the high-energy single.
“Circles” will be out Friday (Aug. 30), described by Posty during its debut as “a little fucking different, it’s got a fucking fat groove.” Despite its funky feel, the meaning is a bit more somber, detailing a relationship gone cold.
Earlier this week, Malone announced that his forthcoming album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, will be out Sept. 6. The record follows 2018’s Beerbongs & Bentleys, which topped the Billboard 200 albums chart in May of that year.
