It’s not enough these days for a DJ to start his or her own label. Producers want to prove their taste onstage with personally curated events. From Bassnectar‘s Deja Voom to ODESZA‘s Sundara, artist-hosted fests seem to be all the rage.
Porter Robinson is the latest electronic artist to announce his own personally curated festival. The Worlds mastermind welcomes fans to his MULTIVERSE Music Festival, co-presented by Coachella organizers Goldenvoice. The lineup, which has yet to be revealed, will include Robinson and some of his “favorite artists.” It comes to Oakland’s Middle Harbor Shoreline Park on June 15.
Fans must be 18 year old or older to enter the MULTIVERSE. Ticket presale registration is now open. Registration also enters fans into a drawing for free tickets. Check Robinson’s announcement tweet below and visit the MULTIVERSE Fest online for more up-to-date info.
