Should the surviving members of bands continue to tour after key members have passed away? It depends on the act, according to a Billboard.com poll. Of 5,710 voters, 44% said “maybe,” depending on the group and its motivation to continue.
Citing that some artists simply cannot be replaced, 35% of those participating flatly said “no.” Another 21% said agreed that the survivors have a duty to uphold the musical legacy of the deceased and continue to tour.
