Trevor Dahl, the Atlantic Records singer-songwriter known as Plug In Stereo, is kicking off the new year with the six-song “A Little Peace” EP, featuring the charming single “To Be Wanted” (featuring Megan & Liz). “A Little Peace” is set to officially arrive on Jan. 7, but fans can hear the project in full right now, exclusively on Billboard.com:
The Portland native has been recording songs in his bedroom since the age of 12, and has spent the past few years touring with artists like Dashboard Confessional, collaborating with singers like Cady Groves and scoring a flashy co-writing credit on One Direction’s track “Truly Madly Deeply.” For “A Little Peace,” however, the 20-year-old artist delved into more emotional songwriting, which anchors new songs like “Don’t Say Goodnight” and “Home Soon.”
“This recording process was unlike any other that I had done previously to the recording this EP,” says Dahl. “It was a wonderful, organic experience, and it was exactly what I needed to achieve the vision I had in my head for the EP and the next chapter of my style musically. I was sitting on some of these songs for a while, just waiting for the right people/place to record them with.”
