The Pixies have announced new tour dates for 2015, as the band plans to hit a number of markets it missed when it toured behind 2014’s Indie Cindy, its first new studio LP since 1991.

The tour starts on Cinco de Mayo at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre and runs throughout the month, hitting less-frequently-played locales like Burlington, Vt. and Cooperstown, N.Y. The band also announced one Canadian festival date for June — Montebello, Quebec’s Amnesia Rockfest.
According to the band, the tour set list will feature “some brand new Pixies songs, written and arranged just in the past few months.”
Tickets go on sale Feb. 27 via The Pixies’ official web site.
The 2015 tour will feature Paz Lenchantin on bass. She replaced another touring bassist, Kim Shattuck, who was let go in Nov. 2013. Both were brought in to take on the duties of legendary original bassist Kim Deal, who left the Pixies earlier in 2013.
