On this week’s Hot 100 chart, Pitbull’s latest party starter — “Timber,” featuring Ke$ha — ends a four-week run at No. 2 by bumping up to the top spot and giving Pitbull his second No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart. As Pitbull celebrates another chart achievement, we pose the question: which of those six hits is your favorite?
Vote now in the poll below to tell us which of Pitbull’s Top 10 Hot 100 hits truly gives you everything:
The Miami rapper’s Top 40 revolution truly began with the 2009 album “Rebelution,” which spawned the radio staples “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and “Hotel Room Service” and broke the veteran artist to a more mainstream pop audience. Another Top 10 album, 2011’s “Planet Pit,” brought Pitbull back to the forefront with the T-Pain-assisted “Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)” before “Give Me Everything,” featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer, exploded, and bestowed Pit with his first No. 1 single.
‘Timber’ Takes First U.K. No. 1 For 2014
After releasing a slew of amiable pop hits (“International Love,” “Back in Time,” “Don’t Stop the Party”) that made the Top 20 of the Hot 100, Pitbull triumphantly returned to the Top 10 with “Feel This Moment,” his a-ha-sampling party track featuring Christina Aguilera on the hook. Pitbull closed out 2013 by hosting the American Music Awards and performing on “Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve,” among other achievements, but the crown jewel was “Timber,” another undeniable cut, this time with Ke$ha delivering the refrain. Pitbull yelled “Timber!,” and just like that, he earned his second Hot 100 chart-topper.
So which of Pitbull’s six biggest hits as a lead artist is the most explosive? Take another listen to all six tracks, and cast your vote now.
