Pink knows the Internet always has an opinion, especially when it comes to raising her kids. So, the songstress decided to be ahead of the curve on Wednesday (July 10) by trolling the “parenting police” on her summer snapshot.
In the photo, her 8-year-old daughter Willow is seen having a blast while running through sprinklers outside. “Here’s a picture of my child running through water. It wasn’t even filtered,” the songstress joked in the caption. “What a waste of water. And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen. If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life. And her mother wasn’t even there. I was….. gasp…. working!!!! In another country!”

She continued with a series of cheeky hashtags, including “#fucktheparentingpolice” and “#opinionsarelikeassholes #somanyassholes.” Luckily, the comment section is flooded with words of positivity, praising the singer for capturing a moment where her kids are enjoying the carefree spirit of youth.
Back in April, Pink revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she won’t be posting photos of her kids on social media (though today’s summer fun was an exception). “People went as far as saying, ‘Someone should call Child Services,’ because he didn’t have a diaper on, and ‘How dare I?’ — just some of the nastiest things,” she recalled of a photo featuring her 2-year-old son not wearing a diaper. “I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. … I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve ever done and I just won’t share them anymore. I won’t do it.”
