Spring 2013 has been the season of the male/female duet — birds are chirping, temperatures are slowly rising, and the top of the Hot 100 chart is littered with hit singles that feature two star vocalists trading verses. P!nk, Rihanna and Pitbull have all crashed the Top 10 of the current Hot 100 with their latest collaborative singles — but which duet best combines its solo star’s musical powers with those of their featured guest?
Vote in the poll below to tell us which hit duet (P!nk’s “Just Give Me a Reason” featuring Nate Ruess, Pitbull’s “Feel This Moment” featuring Christina Aguilera or Rihanna’s “Stay” featuring Mikky Ekko) is the one that you can’t stop singing along to this spring.
For P!nk, the third single from her 2012 album “The Truth About Love” has proven the most successful: “Just Give Me a Reason,” co-written by and featuring fun. leader Nate Ruess, spends a second week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, after her singles “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and “Try” scored Top 10 placements. “Reason” is P!nk’s fourth overall No. 1 on the Hot 100, and just her second chart-topper to spend multiple frames at the summit (“Lady Marmalade” spent five weeks at No. 1 in 2001).

Meanwhile, P!nk’s “Marmalade” co-diva Christina Aguilera has a new collaboration of her own, as “Feel This Moment,” from Pitbull’s “Global Warming” album, has peaked at No. 8 on the tally. The song features a sample of a-ha’s classic single “Take On Me” as well as Mr. 305 spewing swagger while Aguilera provides the all-encompassing hook.
Finally, Rihanna has notched yet another hit with “Stay,” a somber ballad featuring promising newcomer Mikky Ekko. Although it’s hard for any artist to stand toe-to-toe with a vocal powerhouse like Rih, Ekko dazzles on the duet, and has been given a debut Top 10 ballad as a thank-you.
