European independent PIAS has unveiled its expanded global structure, led by veteran exec Adrian Pope.
Pope, the music company’s managing director of artist & label services, helms the newly-formed global team and its four divisions: Artist & Label Services and Business Development (led by Juan Vandervoort, director of global artist & label services); Production and Supply Chain (led by Marcel Maessen, director of group supply chain); Insights and Digital Services (managed by James Howdle, director of insights and digital services); and Business Operations (run by Florian Von Hoyer, group operations director).
The newly-unveiled international team will “drive and support the expanding global network” of local PIAS offices, who will have access to a broad range of centralized business functions, according to a statement issued by the company.
“I am proud to see the launch of this newly formed global team,” notes Edwin Schröter, group managing director of PIAS in a statement. “It includes some of our most experienced senior staff with different areas of expertise and with different nationalities representing the international culture of PIAS.”
PIAS’ new global plan follows its acquisition of classical, jazz and world music specialists Harmonia Mundi last year. PIAS recently ramped-up its U.S. operations with the launch of a new Los Angeles office while adding staff at its New York business.
