More festival news:
Phoenix and the Strokes (playing one of their first shows in three years) will headline Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Strokes side projects abound on Saturday, even without the parent act playing. Vocalist Julian Casablancas and guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. will both play solo sets.
Other notable acts for Saturday include Grimes, Future Islands, Interpol, Against Me!, Real Estate and El-P and Killer Mike’s Run the Jewels collaboration.
As for Sunday, other notable acts include Haim, Blood Orange, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt and artsy screamers the Blood Brothers, playing their first show since breaking up in 2007.
