
It’s always going to be a tough ask to follow Pentatonix. Just ask any of the guests on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The vocal group opened the late night talkshow with an a cappella version of The Roots’ Tonight Show theme which was dripping in the sort of elegant simplicity that has won them a Grammy and millions of fans. The five-piece hung around for a performance of their new single “Can’t Sleep Love,” which is lifted from the group’s first full-length, non-covers studio album, Pentatonix, which arrives today (Oct. 16) on RCA.

Pentatonix comes on the heels of three previous EPs (each of which has sold 200,000 copies) and its blockbuster That’s Christmas to Me, which opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 to become the highest-charting Christmas album by a group since 1962.
