“Puerto Rico spreads music all over the world,” Pedro Capó told Billboard as his single “Calma (remix)” feat. Farruko logged its second week at the top of the Billboard Argentina Hot 100. The song now has seven weeks on the chart in total.
The top three also remained the same (Paulo Londra’s “Adán y Eva” stayed at No. 2, and DJ Snake‘s “Taki Taki” feat. Selena Gomez, Cardi B and Ozuna is still at No. 3), but the top 10 saw some changes: DJ Alex’s “Leña Para el Carbón” jumped from No. 10 to No. 4, and Anuel AA and Karol G‘s “Secreto,” a song announcing their loving relationship, hit No. 9 (the track debuted the previous week at No. 20). With this move, Anuel AA is now the only artist with two songs in the top 10: “Adictiva” feat. Daddy Yankee is at No. 6.
Also, Sebastián Yatra and Reik’s “Un Año” entered the charts at No. 48, making it the best debut of the week. Among others debuts, Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” landed at No. 52; Juanes’s “La Plata” feat. Lalo Ebratt ranked No. 53; Bad Bunny’s “Caro” reached No. 75; Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma” feat. Snow entered at No. 89 (this song is a new version of the Canadian rapper’s “Informer,” released in 1992).
There were two re-enters in the chart as well: Lali and Pabllo Vittar’s “Caliente” currently sits at No. 71 while Alex Rose’s “Toda” arrived at No. 98.
The Argentina Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the country and is compiled by a formula that blends local streaming activity on leading music services such as YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, among others, as well as national radio airplay and plays of songs featured on a variety of Argentine TV networks. Streaming data is provided by Nielsen Music, while radio and TV measurement is powered by BMAT/Vericast.
The Billboard Argentina Hot 100 will appear in each monthly print issue and will be refreshed weekly each Wednesday.
