On Monday, Oct. 21, Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell will perform “Footsteps” with the Avett Brothers.
The following day, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold takes the “Late Night” stage to perform “Corduroy,” which will include special guests. This marks Pecknold’s first TV performance in almost two years.
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, country star Dierks Bentley performs with The Roots and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready for what’s being called “a one-of-a-kind performance.”
Then, Pearl Jam will take the stage on Thursday, Oct. 24 and Friday, Oct. 25 to close out the week. They will be the only televised performances by the band to promote its new album.
The last time the band performed was in September 2011, when they took the “Late Night” stage for a two-night stay.
It was also announced today that Pearl Jam would score the World Series soundtrack that will include 12 tracks from the new album.
“Late Night” has previously dedicated full weeks to other high-profile talent such as Bruce Springsteen and Justin Timberlake.
