Sony BMG has named Michael Paull as executive VP of global digital business. Paull will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s digital strategy, working both domestically and internationally with various Sony BMG divisions.
He will report to Thomas Hesse, president of global digital business and U.S. sales, and be based in New York.
Most previously, Paull was senior VP of corporate development and strategy at Fox Entertainment’s mobile group, which includes the Jamba/Jamster brand. Prior to that, he worked with Sony Pictures Entertainment, joining as VP of business development and subsequently holding positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in the role of senior VP of digital services and distribution.
