Dolly Parton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Rodney Atkins are the first performers announced for the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will take place May 18 in Las Vegas.
Last year’s top new male vocalist, Atkins is nominated for six awards this year, including top male and song of the year. Superstar Parton has been nominated for 40 ACM Awards over the years and has won 8.
Meanwhile, Sugarland is nominated in four categories including single and song of the year for “Stay.” Swift has three nominations, including top new female and top female and Underwood is also nominated for top female.
The show, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, will air live at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. It will be hosted for the 10th time by Reba McEntire.
