Dolly Parton has rescheduled some of her postponed dates for her North American tour in support of “Backwoods Barbie,” due Feb. 26 on Dolly Records.
The tour now begins April 22 in Pittsburgh at the Benedum Center. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.
Last week, Parton was instructed by doctors to rest her back for six to eight weeks. She is expected to fully recuperate in time for the April 22 kick-off. Her upcoming European tour — which kicks off June 13 in Sweden — was not affected.
Parton is booked by Neil Warnock at the Agency Group, and managed by Danny Nozell, Dolly Parton Management.
