Gun control activist and Parkland survivor Emma Gonzalez took to Twitter Tuesday morning to express her solidarity with the victims of the Great Mills High School shooting in Maryland.
Gonzalez’ words are timely and prescient, as America’s gun control woes seem to strike again week after week. Today’s attack in Maryland arrives slightly over a month after the horrific slaughter at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which cost the lives of 14 students and 3 staff members.
We are Here for you, students of Great Mills — together we can stop this from ever happening again https://t.co/bkzL1FcVgu

After Gonzalez’ courageous 11-minute speech at a gun control rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she faced attacks from far-right Internet trolls and conspiracy theorists.
