Just a month after Kanye West released a finished video for his own “Monster,” emo-punk darlings Paramore have unleashed a “Monster” of their own. Their clip for “Monster,” the first single from the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” soundtrack, debuted via MTV on Sunday (July 17) at midnight. Watch below.

The trio appear in three intercut settings: running through a crumbling hospital, raging against the walls of a dilapidated room, and half-submerged in water like characters from “Minority Report.” Luckily, their time in the water appears to have done no damage to lead singer Hayley Williams’ red and orange locks.
The video and song, which is reportedly a reaction to the rough departure of two of the band’s founding members, are the first from the band after Josh and Zac Farro left the group last December.
