Beverly Hills-based Parallel Entertainment, best known for managing Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, among others, is opening a Nashville office where it will expand into country artist management.
Veteran manager John Dennis will partner with Parallel principal J.P. Williams in the new venture and will head Parallel/Nashville. He most recently led Nashville-based Vector Management’s country division where he worked with Trisha Yearwood, Trace Adkins and Billy Currington, among others.
Parallel, which will announce its initial roster of clients in the coming weeks, already manages new country artist Jeremy McComb.
According to Williams, Parallel/Nashville will manage artists as well as participate in the financing, producing and co-producing of their specific projects. “We believe in partnering with our clients in their projects, often times financing them, and taking to them to the marketplace ourselves,” he said in a prepared statement.
“I’m certain we’ll find country artists here very receptive to our hands-on management style and interest in all areas of their careers, including co-producing projects together,” Dennis added.
