
Ryan Lott, who performs under the name Son Lux, will score the next film from The Fault in Our Stars author John Green.

Paper Towns is a coming-of-age story centered on two neighbors, one of whom loved mysteries so much she became one. Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne star; Fox will release the film July 23. Jake Schreier (Robot and Frank) is directing.
Green announced Lott’s participation on Twitter. Lott’s most recently scored The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and contributed to the film Looper.
Lott recently collaborated with Green and his wife Sarah Urist Green for the PBS digital studio the Artist Assignment. Lott’s episode put forth an original piece of content and enables fans to collaborate by responding to it in the medium of their choice.
Before the film is released, Son Lux’s fourth full-length album, Bones, will be released June 23. The first song, “Change Is Everything,” is now available. Son Lux is on tour with tUnE-yArDs in the South through April 11 and has dates in the Northeast and Canada in June.
