With his latest leg of touring coming to a close this weekend, Brad Paisley has confirmed a new set of U.S. dates in 2006. The new run adds to a set of previously announced U.S. and Canadian shows with Terri Clark and Johnny Reid, respectively.
The new U.S. dates begin Jan. 25 in Duluth, Minn., and run into April with current tour mate Sara Evans and Billy Currington on board.
Paisley is touring in support of his latest Arista Nashville album “Time Well Wasted,” which is nominated for the country album of the year Grammy. Single “Alcohol” is up for best country song and best country male vocal performance, while “Time Warp” is up for best country instrumental.
Released in September, “Time Well Wasted” bowed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold nearly 600,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
