Less than 24 hours after announcing a spot at Coachella, East Coast Outkast fans can rejoice as well. André 3000 and Big Boi have confirmed reports that they will headline a day of New York City’s Governors Ball this year.
The festival is set for June 6-8 at Randall’s Island. While the full Coachella lineup has been released, no other Governors Ball performers have been confirmed yet.
The performance marks Outkast’s first New York concert in over a decade.

At last year’s festival, heavy rain and intense foot traffic to see headliners like Kanye West turned much of Randall’s Island into a mudpit, leaving 10 of its 24 acres in need of re-sodding. This caused last summer’s Backyard Festival to be cancelled, although the grounds were restored and have since hosted events like Electric Zoo.
