Katy Perry might have dedicated songs to her baby girl Daisy Dove, but her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, also has a special song for her.
During his interview with the U.K. newspaper The Sunday Times, the Lord of the Rings actor detailed his hyper-specific morning routine, from his 20-minute Buddhist chants and readings that he later shares on his Instagram Story before being “sucked into the black hole of social media” to his “quite L.A.” pre-breakfast drink of green powder, brain octane oil, collagen powder for his hair and nails, and protein. But before he proceeds with any of this, he spends quality father-daughter time with his baby, the all-star couple’s first child together, whom they welcomed back in August.
“I check on my daughter, who’s usually up and cooing in her cot. My fiancée [Perry] needs her sleep, so I try to let her have a lie-in. Daisy’s a very happy baby. I’ll kiss her and we’ll spend some time connecting,” he said in Sunday’s (March 21) interview. “I’ll do eye-gazing with her and sing songs, ‘Daddy loves his Daisy Dove,’ so she knows who Daddy is. My son’s first word was ‘Mama,’ but Daisy said ‘Dada.'”
Bloom has a 10-year-old son named Flynn with ex-wife and model Miranda Kerr. Now living in Santa Barbara with his fiancée Perry, whom he was “super-proud of” for performing “Firework” during the Celebrating America inauguration special, Bloom wishes he could regularly incorporate one more thing in his schedule.
He told The Guardian on Saturday that he and Perry don’t have “enough” sex. “We just had a baby, though,” he added. But he describes Perry, Daisy, Flynn and his dog Mighty as the “greatest” loves of his life.
