It’s always simply the best for Oprah Winfrey.
The media mogul’s new anthem for The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), entitled “You Will,” was written for Winfrey by hitmaker Diane Warren and sung by Jennifer Hudson and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. The pop duet will premiere live tonight. The song is already available on iTunes and streaming on Oprah.com.
Powerful and inspirational, like Oprah herself, the song’s lyrics include such messages as “Don’t need to give in / There’s nothing you can’t take,” “All you can dream/All you can plan/Is already in your hands” and “Own every breathe / Own every minute /Go live a life that’s got no limits.”

Winfrey posted a two-minute video clip with footage from the recording session to her Facebook Wednesday.
“It’s going to be an amazing moment,” says Warren, before the two Jennifers put on their headphones and start singing their lines. The video also includes typed lyrics; Twitter, Facebook and Instagram messages of praise about OWN; and smiling photos and videos of fans. It ends back in the studio with Warren, Hudson and Nettles smiling and high fiving each other.
A second post followed with a short video showing Winfrey and Warren practicing the song’s lyrics. Winfrey’s arm is around Warren’s shoulder, as they sing, “Own every breath. Own every minute” in unison. “Go live a life that’s got no limits.” Then Winfrey flubs the lines a bit and we hear Warren tease, “She doesn’t know the [whispers] fuckin’ words.”
They resume with “you never think you won’t because you will,” with Warren pointing at Winfrey as they repeat “you will.”
The pop duet will premiere tonight (March 25) at 9 p.m. during the season finale of Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots.
