
That purported OneRepublic and Calvin Harris collab doing the rounds of social media right now is a fake. But don’t give up hope of both parties getting together in the studio someday.
A track entitled “Walking On The Sun” has surfaced with some fans and bloggers mistakenly attributing it to the American pop-rock outfit and the superstar Scottish DJ and producer.

OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder took to Twitter to let his followers know it’s not his vocals. “FYI to whoever leaked the “@CalvinHarris featuring OneRepublic” song – It ain’t me singing. Would gladly collab in the future but it’s fake,” he tweeted.

Moments later, Harris jumped in with his own denial. And a touch of bromance. “Btw it’s def not my music either. Big up Ryan,” he tweeted.

Harris is stepping back into action after a car accident that left him briefly hospitalized and forced him to perform at a string of Las Vegas gigs over the weekend. The EDM star last year topped Forbes’ Electronic Cash Kings list of the highest paid DJs in dance music.
