A rep for Columbia Records, One Direction’s U.S. label, has denied a report from the U.K.’s Mirror that the boy band is working on a sequel to their 2013 3D concert “One Direction: This Is Us.”
On Sunday (May 11), the Mirror posted an interview with “This Is Us” director Morgan Spurlock, who was quoted, “Yes, there will be a follow-up to ‘This Is Us’… At this moment [producer] Ben Winston is with the band on their world tour filming what happens. He worked with me and is a great producer.” However, a rep for Columbia tells Billboard that these are “false” claims.

“[Spurlock] is not involved with any filming with the band,” says the label rep. “There’s always filming on the road, but not for a second feature film.”
Released last August, “One Direction: This Is Us” debuted at No. 1 at the U.S. box office, and has grossed $68 million worldwide to date, according to Box Office Mojo. One Direction kicked off their international stadium tour on April 25, and will be on the road through the fall.
