The One Direction boys serve up some playful debauchery in the music video for “Midnight Memories,” a London-set romp that strikes the same cheerful tone as the “Best Song Ever” video after the somber clip for “Story of my Life.”
It all starts innocently enough: Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam are downcast at the Lamest House Party Ever, but when the DJ drops a vinyl (!) edition of “Midnight Memories,” the quintet gets inspired by the chunky guitar riffs and takes off for an evening of fun. The first stop, naturally, is the kebab shop, but there are also scooter races, a police boat hijacking, and shout-alongs with everyone whom they come into contact with.

“Midnight Memories” is the title track of 1D’s third album, and doubles as its third single. “Story Of My Life,” the group’s latest Top 10 hit, slides down to No. 12 on this week’s Hot 100 chart.
And lest we forget, One Direction’s Where We Are stadium tour is fast approaching, with the boys kicking off the trek in Colombia on Apr. 25.
