Olivia Rodrigo, whose “Drivers License” has headed the Billboard Hot 100 for the past three weeks, will be featured on Saturday (Feb. 6) in the Grammy Museum’s Spotlight Saturdays franchise, in which record companies take turns spotlighting their up-and-coming artists.
Rodrigo taped the program three weeks ago, just as “Drivers License” was taking off. Scott Goldman, the museum’s moderator of public programs, conducted the 20-minute interview. The session also includes a performance of “Drivers License.”
The program will be live on Collection:live, the museum’s online streaming service, at 12:00 noon PT at this link. New programs, such as this one, are available for free for 30 days. After that, they are put behind a paywall, accessible only to museum members.
Spotlight Saturdays is part of the museum’s public programs digital series. Collection:live features a curated collection of newly produced artist interviews, performances and livestreams, as well as releases from the museum’s archive. Proceeds benefit the museum’s music education initiatives.
