Norwegian electronic producer Kygo inked a deal with Sony International executive vp Adam Granite that sees him joining Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment in the United Kingdom and RCA in the United States. The world’s second-biggest music subscription service, Deezer, announced it will launch in the United States on Sept. 15. Six-year-old Deezer, which claims to have 5 million subscribers and 16 million monthly users, previously received $130 million in 2012 from Access Industries.
