Attorneys and the judge are questioning more jurors as they work to seat a panel in R&B singer R. Kelly’s child pornography trial.
Jury selection resumed today (May 15) after no jurors were picked Wednesday.
Eight jurors have been chosen so far. Sixteen, including four alternates, will be selected in all. The judge has told some jurors there was a chance they could be sequestered at some stage in the trial.
Kelly is accused of videotaping himself having sex with a girl as young as 13. The Grammy-winning artist has pleaded not guilty. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
