Nielsen Music has promoted three executives to senior VP positions. Nancy Wagner is named senior VP/GM, East Coast; Mark Tindle is named senior VP/GM, West Coast; and Abbe Frank is now senior VP of product development & client relations.
All three report to Rob Sisco, Nielsen Music president/COO Nielsen Entertainment, East Coast operations.
The New York-based Wagner joined Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) in 1990, when the company was launched. She’s held sales and management positions since, most recently GM of Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen BDS, East Coast.
Tindle has been with Nielsen since 1999, serving as GM, West Coast, based in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Nielsen SoundScan and BDS, he worked in promotions for A&M Records for 12 years.
Frank, also based in New York, has worked as director of product development for Nielsen SoundScan since 1999. Prior to joining the company, she worked at PolyGram Distribution, MCA Records and Universal.
