Nicole Scherzinger, the U.S.-born singer who found fame with The Pussycat Dolls before going solo and finding a different feline-themed role, had reportedly found love – and lost it — with Ed Sheeran.

According to the tabloids, Scherzinger, who was the long-time partner of Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton until they split earlier this year, became close with Sheeran. But the 13-year age gap proved too much (she’s 37, he’s 24). But that’s just scuttlebutt. At closer inspection, Scherzinger’s light-hearted clip puts the joke on the gossip columnists.
