6ix9ine’s recent indictment has the rapper facing a life sentence and a minimum of 32 years behind bars if convicted, according to the prosecutors. As a result, his music and upcoming record will be put on hold.
Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with the rapper on “FEFE,” took to Instagram to share the news. “For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now,” she wrote alongside an animated photo on Instagram Wednesday (Nov. 21). “Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time.”
6ix9ine was arrested Sunday night (Nov. 18) on six counts of racketeering, firearms, assault with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy murder charges through his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, says the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
