In an episode where the irony is surely lost on no one, one of Nicki Minaj’s backup dancers was reported bit by a six-foot-long snake during a MTV Video Music Awards run-through performance Friday.

The dancer is said to have been transported to a hospital for treatment. Even though anacondas are not venomous, their bites can lead to infection through the transmittance of bacteria.
