Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got married in India on Saturday (Dec. 1), and they’ve shared a few personal snapshots from the events leading up to their big day. And of course, they’re glowing in all of them.
The couple, who wed four months after Jonas proposed in July, spent time with family and friends while they prepared for their weekend full of festivities. This included the painting of mehendi, or henna, before the ceremony, and Chopra and Jonas each posted several photos from an intimate afternoon that brought both of their families together.
“One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faith and cultures,” they wrote to accompany glimpses at their beaming faces and Chopra’s incredible, vibrant gown. “It was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
Saturday’s was the first of two ceremonies, as the couple will celebrate with a traditional Hindi ceremony on Sunday (Dec. 2).

One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. @nickjonas
