After Zayn Malik confirmed his departure from One Direction last week, the remaining four members noted in a statement that “we’re looking forward to recording the new album.” Now fans are getting some new details about that release, the follow-up to 2014’s Four.
Niall Horan tweeted about the upcoming fifth album release on Sunday (Mar. 29), just one day after taking the stage on the band’s current tour in South Africa on Saturday.
“Had a sit down last night with the label, started organising our writing sessions for the next album! F— yeaaaahhhh! Can’t wait!” he tweeted.
