
Niall Horan must be enjoying single life right now. The Irish-born former One Direction singer last week dropped his solo debut album Flicker, the culmination of 18 months’ work. And it’s bolted out the gate. Flicker is on track to open at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (which would make him the third member of 1D to lead the survey) and it’s at No. 2 on the midweek U.K. chart.
Horan gave his chances of winning the U.S. chart race a real boost with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he performed “Too Much to Ask” and a 13-minute off-air medley of “This Town,” “Paper Houses” and “On My Own.” Watch below.
