Network Live, a joint venture between America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, is producing two exclusive concerts-Keith Urban Nov. 14 and Madonna Nov. 15-which will be broadcast across its multi-platforms.
Urban’s concert, taking place at Irving Plaza in New York, will be broadcast live and on demand on AOL Music Live, and on XM Live (XM Channel 200), while Madonna’s performance, from KoKo’s in London, will be available to worldwide audience via AOL Music Live, XM and multiple wireless providers internationally. This show will be the first international production and broadcast for Network Live following Live 8.
“Network Live uniquely brings live musical performances of the highest quality to a global audience of more than 25 million people, live and on demand,” said Kevin Wall, CEO of Network Live, in a statement.
Since Live 8, Network Live has produced Bon Jovi, live from the Nokia Theatre in Times Square, and Green Day, live at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Prior to the creation of Network Live, AOL Music hosted live performances including Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Kanye West, Rod Stewart, Usher, Nelly, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte, and Josh Groban.
