Nederlander Concerts is adding yet another California concert venue to its portfolio with news that it’s been named the exclusive booker/promoter/producer for the annual summer concert series at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.
The multi-year deal calls for Nederlander Concerts to increase the number of live events at the 3,300-capacity Vina Robles Amphitheatre from April 1 through Nov. 30. AEG was the promoter for the venue’s inaugural season in 2013.
“Vina Robles Amphitheatre is a first-class venue that complements our roster of award-winning small to mid-sized venues throughout California,” Nederlander Concerts CEO Alex Hodges said in a statement. “The venue is sustainable at 3,300 seats and allows for repeat business with artists looking to play a venue of this size. It’s great for tour routing and a beautiful venue in an underserved market.”
Based in Los Angeles, Nederlander Concerts also operates or programs the Greek Theatre and Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, the Santa Barbara Bowl, City National Grove of Anaheim, City National Civic of San Jose, Galen Center at USC. Additionally, the company promotes and produces live events at numerous other West Coast venues, including the Honda Center, San Diego Civic, RIMAC Arena and Field at UC San Diego and Raley Field in Sacramento.
