Navarre Canada will distribute the newly-formed country label 306 Records in Canada. The Saskatoon, Alberta-based label will issue four albums in the fall, including material from Canadian country music veterans Brad Johner and Patricia Conroy, along with emerging artists Marlee Scott and Shane Yellowbird.
The deal gives 306 direct distribution in Canada through Navarre, which itself is handled by Universal Music Canada.
“306 Records has a great team, and has brought us talented artists whose careers will be well managed and marketed in this country,” says Peter Piasecki, managing director of Navarre Canada.
“It’s going to be a very busy year for us,” adds 306 Records presient Louis O’Reilly. “We’ve been working hard to bring outstanding country music to the market from outstanding artists. We are confident in what we will be presenting.”
