Nada Surf will begin a spring tour with a performance at South by Southwest in Austin (date and venue TBA), in support of its new album, “Lucky.” As previously reported, the set is due Feb. 5 via Barsuk.
After Austin, Nada Surf heads West with support from the Little Ones through March 29 in Vancouver. Beginning April 1 in Denver, What Made Milwaukee Famous will support. The trek wraps April 13 in Philadelphia.
“We didn’t think that kids who knew us because of one song would be longtime fans,” frontman Matthew Caws recently told Billboard in reference to the group’s left-field ’90s hit, “Popular.” “We rebuilt our audience by touring and focusing on all-ages shows, really grass-roots type of stuff.”
