College radio mainstays Nada Surf and Rogue Wave will begin a North American tour Feb. 8 in Federal Hill, Md. The outing will run through March 11 in Toronto, with support from King Of France and Inara George.
Nada Surf will be out behind its 2005 Barsuk album “The Weight Is a Gift,” which debuted at No. 15 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums tally. After the Rogue Wave dates, the band will head overseas for a month-long European tour that will wrap April 25 in Paris.
Rogue Wave is supporting its recent hit college radio album, “Descended Like Vultures” (Sub Pop), which reached No. 41 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The group is presently in the midst of an 11-date European tour that visits London tonight (Jan. 26).
