The World Series is done and dusted. Elite club baseball is finished for another season (spoiler alert: the Giants beat the Royals in Game 7). San Francisco fans can rejoice, and the ban on Lorde’s “Royals” is now lifted.
Musicians pitched in with their own special moments as the competition reached its climax. Few will forget Staind’s Aaron Lewis flubbing the lyrics of the “Star-Spangled Banner.” Trisha Yearwood and Carlos Santana also performed the anthem, though with considerably less downside (Phil Lesh and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead showed their support for their hometown team during its title run).
