Ranj Bath was named vp corporate strategy and business development for Beats Music. With more than 15 years of global experience at the forefront of entertainment and technology, Bath joined the company from Intel, where he led strategic partnerships and marketing for seven years. He also was co-founder/COO of Desi Hits, a multiplatform media company that included the backing of several high-profile Silicon Valley venture capitalists, as well as Jimmy Iovine as one of its strategic investors. Bath will continue to advise a number of companies across the social broadcasting, music gaming and crowdsourcing spaces as “an evangelist with a passion to integrate the latest trends in technology across entertainment and celebrity-driven initiatives,” according to Beats Music.

Marty Silverstone was promoted to senior vp creative/head of synch at Primary Wave Music, where he will oversee placements in film, TV, advertising, video games and new media, while also focusing on new catalog acquisitions and artist signings. He had driven synch campaigns for Hall & Oates, Kurt Cobain, Steven Tyler, Def Leppard and Chicago. Miles Feinberg was promoted to executive vp music sales for Music Sales Corp./G. Schirmer Inc., where he will head the Los Angeles office and oversee the copyright, synchronization and licensing departments.

Dillett will tap into her extensive background in international and domestic marketing, product management and production at the company’s New York headquarters. Hoch had served as product manager at the label for such successful front-line releases by artists including The Pretty Reckless, Augustana, The Ready Set and Yellowcard.
