Singer/guitarist Matt Bellamy expressed excitement at a concert film the band will release “before Christmastime,” following 2008’s “HAARP” live album/DVD combo. The film was shot at Rome’s Olympic Stadium in 4K resolution, and will be the highest-definition concert film ever released when it gets a limited theatrical run prior to a DVD release.
Bellamy also revealed to Lipshutz the band’s 2014 plans, which include recording a new album and a miniscule amount of festivals, while he and drummer Dominic Howard explained Muse’s approach to its live show as a three-piece and touring behind 2012’s “The 2nd Law.”
