Mumford & Sons are extending their road-run after a pause for illness.
The British folk-rock group have announced a new table of North American tour dates, and they’ve rescheduled the shows nixed when bass player Ted Dwane suffered a blood clot on the surface of his brain.
There’s a strong chance Dwane will be in the mix for those dates. Keyboard player Ben Lovett has said Dwane would return for the group’s main-stage finale at Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. this Sunday night.
“All we feel is incredibly grateful and happy that he’s going to be OK, and that we’re going to get back out on that stage at Glastonbury as four brothers and do what we do,” Lovett told the Radio Times magazine.
The Grammy Award winners will continue on the summer festivals circuit (and play Australia’s Splendour in the Grass) before kickiing off their “Full English Tour” Aug. 26 at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
Mumford & Sons’ new itinerary includes four rescheduled dates beginning Sept. 16 for New Orleans’ Mardi Gras World, with stops at Woodlands, Dallas and wrapping Sept. 20 at Bonner Springs. Bear’s Den and The Vaccines will fill the support slots on the “Full English” tour.

The four-piece’s live trek abruptly stopped when Dwane suffered a blood clot and underwent emergency surgery just two weeks ago. A handful of shows were canceled, including an appearance at the Bonnaroo festival and a set at Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
In a statement posted on their official Website, the group reveal Dwane is making “steady recovery” from his surgery. According to the update, the bass player is “wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable levels of suave.”
