Before releasing one of the year’s biggest albums, Mumford & Sons hit the road for a tour captured in the new concert film “Road to Red Rocks.”
The “Babel” rockers ended their “Gentleman of the Road” tour at Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Ampitheater, the showcase for the film. The group previously revealed footage from the performance in their enthusiastic video for lead single “I Will Wait.”
The home video release is due Jan. 22 in the U.S., with earlier releases set for the UK (Nov. 26) and New Zealand and Australia (Nov. 30).
With its 600,000-copy first week, “Babel” posted the best rock sales week since AC/DC’s “Black Ice” bow in 2008. The album held the top debut of the year before Taylor Swift’s “Red” notched over 1.2 million on this week’s charts.
