MTV Networks Asia has appointed three key executives to bolster its Greater China operation.
Roger Xu, previously the CEO of TVSN, China’s first 24-hour TV shopping network, has been named GM of MTV China. Xu will oversee the overall the broadcaster’s business operations and chart the strategic growth of the channel. He will report to MTV China senior VP/MD Li Yi Fei.
Flora Xie, previously deputy GM of Guangdong-based Sheng Se Media Group, has been appointed GM of MTV China’s 24-hour channel, while Christina Leung, formerly the brand director and deputy GM of beverage maker Jian Li Bao, has been named deputy GM of the channel. Xie and Leung will also report to Li.
Xu’s and Xie’s positions are new. Leung replaces Jessica Kam, who left MTV Networks Asia in June.
