
Morrissey’s live shows can be hit and miss. His performance overnight on The Late Late Show was definitely of the “hit” variety.
The former Smiths star was the musical guest on James Corden’s late night entertainment show, where the singer and his band earned a roar from the studio audience for their efforts. Corden later tweeted that Morrissey’s brief stint on his show was a “dream come true!”
The Brit and Co. performed “Kiss Me a Lot,” which appeared on World Peace Is None Of Your Business, Morrissey’s 2014 album release which ignited an almighty row with its U.S. label Harvest (Moz called Harvest “cheap” and said there was “mutual mistrust” between both parties, among many other things. The album was subsequently yanked from U.S. retail).
