After spending the first nine years of their career with Nashville-based Hallmark Direction, country duo Montgomery Gentry have signed with the newly launched Parallel Entertainment/Nashville for personal management.
Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry have scored three No. 1s on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, including 2007’s “Lucky Man.” Since first debuting in 1999, they have sold 4.5 million albums, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As previously reported, the Los Angeles-based Parallel has opened a Nashville office headed by management veteran John Dennis. Parallel, founded by CEO J.P. Williams in 1991, is best known for managing Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy.
